This desk has a top that lifts up and the inside depth is 4 1/2" deep.  The measurements of the desk is 27 3/4" wide x 17 1/2" deep x 31" high.  It also has a pencil holder on the top.  The desk is in good condition with one exception.  The top is a bit elevated on the lower right corner, but you would  have to look from underneath to detect this.  It does not deter from the beauty of the piece. I can ship this via Greyhound Express.  I will be happy to obtain a shipping quote but I will need the zip code of the nearest Greyhound Station to you that accepts packages (not your home zip code).  We have a local Quik-Pack that will pack this for just $20.00.  They do a great job of packing!
