The baby is wearing a bonnet made of white worsted weight yarn with purple trim. This would make a wonderful gift for any age at any occassion and would definately be a piece you would be proud to display on your bed.  (This piece would also be beautiful situated on a piano or in a livingroom on a piece of antique furniture.)
