Collectable antique porcelain doll Christmas red dress click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge This is a one of a kind. Found in a probate house by a former dress designer/dollmaker, A doll that would make the perfect Christmas present or just a beautiful item to enjoy as part of your collection. This doll is about 21" from head to toe. She has blue eyes and gorgeous brunette hair. The dress is nothing but exquisite. I believe it is made out of silk velvet, and it has a striking brocade that runs down the dress as it gently swings out to the right. It has the puffiest sleeves that are followed by tight laced sleeves and a top that is lace plus a brocade around the collar area. She has a mold that is French Bulesque type boots for the feet. She is a little dusty, because it sat for a bit of time in this house, but perhaps just a little bit of brushing or steam cleaning, and you have a sight to behold. And yes the stand comes with her! The seamstress made this doll from scratch including the dress and just couldnt part with her. All the dolls I am selling came from the same place in various stages of completion. They were her children. This is what I was told.
