I have crocheted into the doily 432 various colored beads making the doily appear as if it has colored lights. It's really beautiful in person as the pictures do not do it justice. Crocheting beads into a doily takes more time then doing the doily without, but the end result was worth the additional time to make this one. Handmade items make excellent gifts for all occasions.   All my handmade items are now being sold elsewhere as well as here. A bid will guarantee that it will be sold here. In the event it sells elsewhere first this item will end.   I have been crocheting for over 30 years. Doilies take time to make, most take a day or more to make and the bigger ones take even longer. All my doilies are washed and blocked using several different methods for blocking, such as ironing, pin blocking or finger blocking. It depends on the doily as to how I block them. They are all placed in plastic bags and placed into an envelope or box for mailing after purchase.      If this one doesn't interest you, I have a few other doilies listed as well.    I combine shipping whenever possible so buy more save more. PAYMENT:  Payment is due within 3 days of auction end.  If payment has not been received within 7 days of auction end, items will be re-listed and all non-payments will be reported and appropriate feedback left.   SHIPPING: High bidder/buyer pays actual shipping plus a handling fee. I ship Monday -Thursday mornings only, if payment has not been received by Thursday morning my time it will not ship until Monday providing payment has been received by then.   All items are sent with delivery confirmation whenever the item is 3/4 " thick. Insurance is optional and is an additional $1.70 or more depending on the amount of your purchase. Insurance is mandatory on purchases of $25.00 or more. This protects you and me. If you choose not to purchase additional insurance on your purchase, I will not be held responsible for damage, loss, or misdirected mail by the USPS.
