This pretty piece is 100% champagne colored cotton cloth and hand embroidered in a classically, timeless pattern of counted cross stitch in brilliant colors of four tones green.. The edge is hand rolled and finished with a very fine hemstitch. This tablecloth represents never ending hours of careful and patient work. This unique piece is absolutely magnificent.It features the finest and tiniest petite point counted X stitch you have ever seen.View pic. 3 + 4 and look how detailed the embroidery is: the middle green border between the greek-key pattern is framed with dark green accents.... Marvelous work ...don't you think ?? The hand embroidered 7" wide border ( 12" wide in the corners ) looks like a "perfect frame", direct the eye to the picture and takes little applause for itself.
