After thatI really got to "grubbing" him!!hehe He turned out justwonderful! Standing at approximately 25" from the bendof his hat to the tip of his handpainted and sanded blackshoes he is a good size for just about anywhere you wantto use him. I used an old raggedy quilt for his coat and hat to which is stitched antique quilt batting for the fur.The pants are made from a plaid flannel with the samebatting for fur. His boots are "laced" up with rusty safetypins on which I put a rusty bell. When he "walks" he soundslike Christmas! On the tip of his hat is a large rusty bell.I used another old quilt to make the toy bag, but it seemsthat someone must have misbehaved at this house, forthere is only a bundle of switches in it. On the front is arusty snowflake pinned with another rusty pin. Under hisother arm he is holding a handmade sheep, which has beenstained for that great prim look. Santa's face is drawnwith pencils and then faded to look old and grungy.It was then sealed to stay that way.
