She sure did get dirty though!!! Annie's body is constructed of quality highly stained muslin. Hair is hand dyed 100% wool. She is wearing a mustard dress with a tiny star print. Her apron is a piece of a geometric print that ties the colors of the bloomers and dress together beautifully. Her bear matches her bloomers and was constructed with button jointed arms and legs. The bears nose and mouth are hand embroidered and glass beads were used for the eyes. Annie's face has been hand embroidered and hand painted. She has red stripes painted on her legs. She has a stained hang tag with a red heart. This adorable Annie sits 9 1/2" high and is about 17" tall. Bear sits 6" high and is approximately 9 1/2" tall. Annie and her bear were totally handcrafted by me using a pattern from Sweet Meadow Farms. My dolls are for decorative use only, and not meant to be used as toys. I have been sewing for more than 30 years. My Annie clothing is made using dressmaker's techniques, all seams are pressed flat before being sewn and any gathering is always done using 2 rows of stitching.
