Each card opens like a book to reveal in order the timeless story of The 12 days of Christmas. This set was such a challenge to make! I found each image on the Internet and drew a pint size image from that. Needless to say this was no small undertaking! Prisma pencils and Fine copic liners were used to create the vibrancy and detail in each little card. Machine sewing and embossing really adds to the detailing and you know me, I have to glitter everything! A card just doesn't look finished with out a generous dab of star dust!! The card set comes in this hand painted wooden box, shaped as a story book. The page ends have been done in gold just like an old book! I have distressed the cover and the title as well by sponging in gold. I Love the affect in person! The cover of the book opens to reveal a hidden box for your treasures. The lid opens and closes using a magnetic closure. Each card measures 4 x 4 and comes with a hand made cards stock envelope ready for the holidays! What a wonderful, One of a kind, gift this will make!    As you can see a lot of thought and detail was put into every image. The image front is a tiny 3 x 3! What a challenge to work with!! The edges of each embossed layer has also been inked with gold adding to the timeless affect! The machine stitching brings the warmth from home!
